PROCESS

The colours of the design are based on my website colours. To achieve these colours on dark paper it is necessary to print white before printing colour, which is very difficult and time consuming.

As I was not sure wether this was possible or not, I visited 75B and asked Pieter for advice on colour and printing. He suggested I get my cards printed at Tripiti, an offset printer in Rotterdam. That way, I could use PMS colours to achieve the result I wanted.

This was my first time using an offset printer, which is why it was really nice to have some advice on what paper to use and how to prepare files properly.

By making my business cards, I learnt how to prepare the PANTONE colours for Tripiti and got to be apart of the printing process, due to the fact that Tripiti is a small and local printer.

I started off by selecting works that I thought were relevant for each competency. I then defined my goals, actions and results for each project.

After having written all ODARRS, I exchanged them with another classmate and we gave each other feedback on them.
